Breast Cancer

In my work as a medical intuitive, the breast carries the energy of nourishment — how we mother others, and whether we ever turn that same tenderness toward ourselves. Again and again I have sensed, beneath this diagnosis, a long habit of giving until empty: holding everyone together--the family, the office, the group of neighbors- all while quietly setting one’s own needs aside.
This is never about blame. It is an invitation, the kind I write about in Sacred Choices — to notice the beliefs, a way of thinking, and habits that ask us to disappear, and to begin nourishing the self with the same devotion we so freely give everyone else. Explore these reflections alongside the care of your medical team, never in place of it.
Secrets Kill
Secrets kill. Every reading I have done on a woman with breast cancer revealed a long kept secret that festered in the breast: an abortion, hating their mother, having an affair... The secret festers and grows and becomes a precursor for illness because in time, the secret grows larger with terrible displeasure, judgement, even hatred toward oneself. It must be purged--confess to a friend, a priest, to God. It cannot remain quiet in the darkness of your soul.
